Seen | Known | Loved

"Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every moment of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I'm about to speak before I even start a sentence. You know every step I will take before my journey even begins."

Wow.

What an incredible thing it is to be fully seen, known, and loved.

Within the past few months, I have entered, left, and entered again perhaps one of the most beautiful seasons I have ever walked through... and who said it ever had to end? I can tell you that it hasn't been all easy, but it has been a season where I am constantly learning more and more of my Father's heart.

He has pursued me in such grace, pulling me in closer to His heart.

Something that the Lord has been teaching me the past few days is that He sees me, knows me, and loves me.

Lately, I have really just been feeling unseen. It's nothing that anyone has done, but it's almost as if there has been a constant battle in my mind- a battle where the enemy is trying to make me feel like I'm not seen, known, or loved.

My initial, fleshly response to these feelings is one of isolation because, "I don't want to be a burden."

That's just like the enemy, huh? He puts us in this position where we feel like we are so unseen that we don't want to "bother" people with our feelings or what's happening in our heart.

I’m here to tell you that the constant theme I keep getting pulled back into are the truths of the kind of Father He is.

Our Father sees us. He sees where we’re at. He sees us when we are experiencing our lowest lows and celebrating our highest highs.

If you didn’t know.. You are seen.

Our Father knows us.

He knows every detail of our lives. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Do you know why? It’s because He uniquely designed us with so much purpose.

If you didn’t know.. You are known.

Our Father loves us.

He loves us so much that He gave His everything so that we could know the depths of that very love. He loves us at our best and at our worst. There’s nothing that we could ever do, or not do, that would lessen the love He has for us.

If you didn’t know.. You are loved.

The “funny” thing about life is that sometimes we walk through it so blinded by the lies of the enemy that we don’t look up and see how hard our Father is fighting for our hearts. I don’t have all the answers, but I know that God’s heart for you is so big- He longs to be close to you and He longs for you to know the truth over the lies.

Stop running.

Stop letting the enemy feed you lies that nobody sees you.

Stop losing a battle that has already been won on the cross.

Stop pushing away the One who longs to show you His heart for you.

Even when people disappoint you and you feel like nobody sees, knows, or loves you.. He does. And there’s nothing that will ever change that.

by a Father who will never stop fighting for your heart.
