"For whom the Son sets free, is free indeed."
-John 8:36

I have told my testimony to many people, but up until this point it hasn't been my real testimony. I have been living in shame with because of my past mistakes, and have never spoken out about it. Since being at SAGU, I have been challenged in so many new ways. I have been inspired to share my testimony and tell others about the life He has brought me out of. It has been a challenge to find this confidence, but I have discovered that the person I was is not the person that I am today. I am able to live in amazement of the grace, love, mercy, and compassion Jesus has toward me. I am constantly in awe of how madly in love Jesus is with me, and how He never stops pursuing me.
I recently had a video testimony assignment due for one of my Bible classes, and I knew that it was the time to share my real, full story. After sharing it with my family, and some close friends, I realized that there are people out there that need to hear my story. I know that I am not the only one who has struggled with many of these things, and I want others to know that it's okay to find freedom from your past. Your past doesn't define your present or your future. I have learned that freedom key to living out the calling that God has placed on your life.
I have attached my video testimony in hopes that you will watch. I feel compelled to share this story. I am confident that I have victory, and I now live in the freedom that I am no longer held captive by my past.
Live in freedom, so that you can love others with that same freedom.

Be blessed!
Disclaimer: Some of my commentary in this is kind of silly. It is very strange to share something so personal through a video, when you know that you're not really talking to an actual person!
